From September 12th to November 3th 2015, there’s Cosmos festival at Showa Memorial park.
On our first few blogs, I wrote about beautiful hydrangea flowers at this same park. Basically, there are flowers all year round depending on the season you visit. And this particular season, early fall, it’s cosmos.
Showa Memorial park was established to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Emperor’s Showa’s reign. It covers the area of 163 hectares. So to say, a very very big park! You can enjoy many activities there including outdoor barbecue, cycling, green adventure and etc. Admission fee is only 410 yen. From Shinjuku, you can take JR Chuo line for about one hour and get off at Nishi-tachikawa station.
I have some photos to share with you today:)
Soon the autumn foliage season will begin and I will be writing about Showa memorial park again. If you are in Japan now, you shouldn’t miss the chance to see beautiful cosmos before the festival is over;)
Beautiful flower with beautiful girl!
See you next blog!
