Review: Thermae Yu (Premium Onsen Spa in Shinjuku)

Today I’ve come with the the review on my wonderful experience at Thermae Yu, the premium Onsen spa which located in the central Tokyo!

So, the most convenience one is very good access. You don’t need to board the train from the city for 1 hour or more in order for taking an Onsen bath. In addition, this Onsen spa is just about 12 mins walk from Shinjuku station!

Once we’d arrived, we found that this Onsen spa is such an enormous infrastructure from its outside. When we entered, wow there looks so luxury !! We checked in at the reception counter, got the locker key, bath towels and clothes there. Well, then let’s go transform!!

Now we are at ladies locker room on the 2F which fully furnished with lockers, individual dressers, and amenities such as combs, shower caps, elastic bands, dryers, curling irons and etc.

In woman Onsen bathroom, you guys also can enjoy the new! launched hydrogen water containing mud pack and salt sauna which its components are rich of property of making beauty skin ><

Next, let’s go to see the large Onsen baths of Thermae Yu! Here, there are both indoor and outdoor baths available. Moreover, there is Kanto’s largest high concentration carbonated water bath which can fully effect for beauty skin.

On the 3rd Floor, there’s the heaven of sauna !!!

The atmosphere as if you were sleeping in some kind of elegant desert. Wowwww

In this facility, I think that it’s like a one stop complex city, you can do all relax activities you’d like to do such as Onsen, Sauna, Spa. Moreover on other floors, there also have Japanese restaurants, Juice bar, Drink Bar, lounges and etc. So, it’s really worth visit!

So now, everybody definitely would like to know about the price right?

The entrance fee is ¥2,364 on weekdays and ¥2,688 on weekends and holidays. But there can be more SPECIAL PRICE!! with the ticket from H.I.S. >> TADAAAAA……

JUST ONLY ONE PRICE AT 2,000 YEN!!!!

Can’t believe! only just 2,000 Yen, we can spend relaxing times much more like this!!! This price’s already included admission fee, bathing taxes, floor wear, towels. Moreover, you guys can just bring a ticket to the facility whenever during your stay in Japan for once within the open hours.

This is such a secret place among Japaneses, less know among foreigner so, I strongly recommend for those who want to real escape from crowded people and need real relaxation.

This Theemae Yu opens 11:00 am.~ 09:00 am.(of the next day). But late night fee of 1,835 yen will be charged for using the facilities between 00:00~9:00 (to be paid at Thermae-yu). So everyone, it’s better to get out of there before 00:00 am., do not sleep overnight^^
